Client's Requirement

The client wanted a comprehensive health reporting system that could maintain the health information of both providers and patients. They required a solution that could store and share patient health data with trusted clinics, hospitals, and labs to ensure effective diagnosis and treatment. The client was concerned about the confidentiality and privacy of the data and needed a system that could meet constantly changing regulations.

Cannyfore Technology Solutions

Cannyfore Digital created a web-based application, a health reporting system, that met the client’s requirements. The system was divided into five modules:

Personal Information:This module allowed reporters to update their personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, etc.
Facility Information: This module allowed reporters to add, update, and delete facility information such as the facility’s name, address, and phone number. Reporters could add multiple facilities at once.
Laboratory Information: This module allowed reporters to add, update, and delete laboratory information such as the laboratory’s name, address, and phone number. Reporters could add multiple laboratories at once.
Provider Information: This module allowed reporters to add, update, and delete provider information such as the provider’s name, address, and phone number. Reporters could add multiple providers at once.
Patient Information: This module allowed reporters to add, update, and delete patient information such as personal information, facility information, laboratory information, and provider information. Reporters could pre-populate information from the above modules. Additionally, this module allowed the addition of disease and diagnosis information. Reporters could enter information for only one patient at a time.

Key Technologies Used

The solution was built using C# , .NET, .NET Core, Web API 7, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. The database used was SQL Server 2016. The system ran on the Windows 10 platform and was hosted on Azure’s cloud platforms. The source code was managed using TFS. The solution was designed using the Repository Design Pattern and followed an n-tier architecture.

Overall, the health reporting system developed by Cannyfore Digital helped the client maintain the health information of providers and patients securely and reliably. The solution allowed the sharing of patient data with trusted clinics, hospitals, and labs, which helped ensure effective diagnosis and treatment. The system was designed to meet constantly changing regulations while also ensuring data confidentiality and privacy.
