Description
We are seeking an experienced APIC (IBM API Connect) & DataPower Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, configuring, and deploying APIs using IBM API Connect and DataPower Gateway. You will play a key role in the API lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs using IBM API Connect v10 or above.
- Develop and manage DataPower services including Multi-Protocol Gateways (MPGW), XML Firewall, and Web Services Proxy.
- Implement security policies such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, and Mutual Authentication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API integrations and DataPower performance.
- Collaborate with architects, backend developers, and DevOps teams to design scalable solutions.
- Develop policies and configurations for rate limiting, caching, and transformation.
- Monitor and manage API analytics and logging using APIC tools.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.
- Perform unit and integration testing; support UAT and production deployments.
- Document API interfaces, workflows, and best practices."
